"Trust" - My One Little Word for 2015

It’s a brand New Year. It’s that time of year when people make all these new resolutions. If you’re like me, making the list on what you’re going to work on is super easy, but following through with it is a different story. Instead, I have a word for the year.

The word TRUST means: reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something. One in which confidence is placed.

I want 2015 to be filled with trust. Trust solely in my Father in Heaven. I want to rely only on him. Always.

I asked my mentor and prayer partner what her word for 2015 was going to be. When she said “trust“, I immediately knew that was the Holy Spirit. How beautiful that we both were looking to that word for the new year and neither of us had said a word to each other about it.

It’s so easy to try to take things on ourselves and not put our trust in him. But, I trust HE knows best for my life. I trust HE can make all things good. I trust HE is the ultimate healer and I trust HIM in everything I do and all that I am.
