Spring is a wonderful time to be in Nashville. Whether you live here or are planning a visit soon, get out during the Spring months! The weather is perfect, the flowers are blooming, trees are budding, and there are lots of things to do outdoors in and around the city.
If you aren’t planning to leave town for Spring Break but still want to make it a special time for your family, here are 18 things to do in Nashville this Spring. Sometimes a “stay-cation” is the best kind of vacation.
1. Treetop Adventure Park at Nashville Shores
2. Visit an area park. I think our favorite is Percy Warner Park.
3. Cheekwood Botanical Garden. Cheekwood has something going on year round.
4. Nashville Zoo. We have a zoo membership, we enjoy it so much.
5. Kayak some of the lake’s. Try Radner, Old Hickory, or Percy Priest.
6. Visit the Opryland Hotel and walk around or plan a special meal.
8. Visit the Parthenon at Centennial Park.
9. Visit the Adventure Science Center
10. Tour and see the Schermerhorn Symphony Center
11. Take a tour of the Fontanel Mansion
12. Visit the historic Ryman Auditorium
13. See a show at The Grand Ole Opry
14. Visit the The Hermitage
15. See a show at Tennessee Performing Arts Center
16. See exhibits and tour the Frist Center for Visual Arts
17. Tour the Belle Meade Plantation
18. Visit the Tennessee State Museum
Nashville is a great town, year round. But Spring is my favorite. There are so many things to do and see, festivals going on, and restaurants where you can eat outside.
