A few weeks ago we cruised with Norwegian around the Western Caribbean on the Norwegian Dawn. We love cruising and we love the Caribbean but we’ve never cruised with Norwegian before. We had heard its an excellent cruise line but weren’t sure exactly what to expect. What stood out to us?
1. The Crew: I’ve been on 7 cruises and never before have I experienced such an amazing crew. The sweet people who worked on this ship were so personable and really made you feel at home and was always so friendly and willing to help. They remembered your name when serving you and always asked if you needed something.
2. The Food: So you have probably heard about all the food that is on the ship when you cruise. There is always something to eat wherever you go on the ship. They’re trying to feed you at all times. Over the last 10 years, I’ve experienced a wide variety of food while cruising. The food on this cruise was out of this world. There was a wide variety to choose from and the food was extremely fresh {they make almost everything right there on the ship}. Usually by the fifth day of a seven day cruise, the food starts to taste bland. Not on the Norwegian Dawn. We were very impressed!
3. The Cabins: The cabins/rooms on this cruise were very nice! The cabins were spacious and very modern looking. Lots of ships haven’t had an update in quite some time. We could really tell that Norwegian puts their time into the little things including keeping up of their cabins.
I’ll have more from our trip in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, make sure you follow Norwegian Cruise Line on Facebook & Twitter for great ideas on cruise itineraries and deals!
