It’s officially summer break here! We have been finished with our school year for a few weeks now and have already made our summer bucket list. Now, we’re ready to start checking things off our list.
Here is what we will be up to over the next 6 weeks or so:
- Go camping
- Visit the zoo
- Cool off at Gaylord Opryland’s SoundWaves
- Go to a Nashville Sounds game
- Have ice cream for dinner one night
- Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame
- Visit the Tennessee State Museum
- Go to an outdoor concert
- Go to the Cumberland Park Spraygrounds
- Go to the Farmer’s Market
- Watch fireworks
- Have a water balloon fight
- Go to the cabin in North Carolina
- Visit the different murals in Nashville and take photos
- Visit a new park
- Pick strawberries
- Catch fireflies
- Read 5 new books
- Have snow cones
- Go to a new place for lunch
- Play in the rain
- Make popsicles
- Summer $1 movie
- Family game night
- Plan a Disney cruise
- Ride 4-wheelers
- Visit a farm
- Visit the Armstrong’s (best friends in FL)
- Ride go-carts
- Play putt-putt
- Catch lightning bugs
- Make homemade ice cream
Chances are we won’t get through all these, but we sure hope to make it through as many as we can. We love the longer days of summer and the slower schedule that it brings.
