In my life this week…
This week has flown by! Seems like just yesterday I was writing last week’s post. As some of you may remember from last weeks post, my son had some biopsy’d done the previous week and we got the results back on Monday. Everything looked great! (Such an answer to prayer!) But now, we’re headed in for more x-rays to see how we can get his little digestive system cleared out. I’m sure I’ll have more news on that this time next week. Until then, could you pray that we can get to the bottom of this? I’m sure he’s so tired of being poked and prodded on and not really understanding why since he’s only 2 years old.
Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…
We’ve had lots of time to play outside this week. The weather has been awesome and we’re so thankful that Spring is on the way. We have already made several trips to the park this season and are excited about many more in our near future!
My favorite thing this week was…
Watching my 5 year old read to my 2 year old. Yes, he can read entire books now and it makes this mom proud! He isn’t even in Kindergarden! {yes, that was me bragging a little…sorry!}
What’s working/not working for us…
I will say I can’t complain. Seems like we’re trotting right along with the Alpha Omega Horizons PreK curriculum. I will say that he is starting to get a wee bit bored with it. He has been so interested in it up until now and he feels there is alot of repetition. Which there is, but he is very advanced for his age, and he’s ready to move on to something more challenging.
A photo, video, link, or quote to share…

YEAH for the test results…but, bummer for more testing! Will be praying!
Isn’t it great going to the park…we’ve been just about every day this week…and we’re at the end of the cul de sac…so, kids are outside a LOT!
Have a GREAT weekend!

MEL! Oh how I miss you! I’ve tried emailing you and think we need a catch up session soon 🙂

I love hearing my girls read to each other. It is so sweet!!
Your kids look like they had fun this week. I totally love that quote at the bottom of your post! LOL!
Yay on the reading! That is awesome.
Hope you guys figure out what is going on with your little guy. I can’t even imagine all those pokes on a 2 year old : (
Glad to hear the weather is good there…Have not stopped by lately to say Hi but am now! 8) Enjoy your weekend!
Wonderful that your 5 year old is reading to your 2 year old! Congratulations–that is worthy of a little mommy pride! 🙂
So glad the biosopy results turned out well. And love the quote! So true.
