It was in our small group this evening that it really hit. We ARE worthy of the love and grace God has given us. I know I always fall into the category of “I’m not worthy” of his grace. When really, he wants us to acknowledge that we are.
We are studying “Grace – The One And Only” by Louis Giglio; Louis lays out some statements from Ephesians 1 to preach to ourselves everyday. Which of these statements lands with you the most? (as from our study guide)
1. I am somebody.
-Because of what Christ has done, how does God see you?
-Does God’s view of you match up with your view of yourself?
-Psalm 139:15-18, Ephesians 2:8-10, 2nd Corinthians 5:17
2. I am blessed and I have all I need in Christ.
-What has God blessed you with?
-Are those the things you normally think about when you think about being blessed by God?
-Ephesians 1:3, Colossians 2:9
3. I am chosen by God.
-How does the truth change how you see yourself?
-1st Peter 2:9, Colossians 3:12, John 15:15, 1st Thessalonians 1:4
4. I am holy and blameless in his sight.
-Even if you chose to sin, does your position with God change if you have put your faith in Christ?

5. I am a loved son/daughter.
-How often does the truth that you are a loved son or daughter of God cross your mind?
-Romans 8:15-17, 31-39, 1st John 3:1, Romans 5:6-8, 1st John 4:9-10
6. I am a trophy of God’s grace.
-Are you living like a trophy of God’s grace? What is the one thing he has pulled you through that you can broadcast to the world?

7. I am redeemed and forgiven.
-Isaiah 53:4-6, Colossians 1:10-14
8. I have the Holy Spirit in me.
-Do you know and follow the lead of the Holy Spirit?
