I love connecting. I love connecting with those who have similar interests. I love connecting with homeschoolers. I love connecting with moms. I love connecting with other bloggers and social media friends. As you can tell, I love to connect.
The love for connecting is why I and my good friend Sue created Hip Homeschool Moms last August. It has taken off far more than we ever imagined and I’m so blessed by this group of women!
Have you connected with Hip Homeschool Moms? You can on Twitter, Facebook, and on our Homeschool Forums.
So, why do I love this group so much? Here are my Top 10 reasons why.
{I’m linking up with OhAmanda and her Top Ten Tuesdays}
1. The community of women coming together to talk about motherhood and homeschool.
2. It’s not just another homeschool group blog. In fact, Hip Homeschool Moms is not considered a group blog. It’s a homeschool resource site which makes it a lot more unique and allows us to always offer new things. We have 1 blog post (and thats by a guest!) per week, and the rest of the posts each week are resource pages catered just for you!
3. The Hip Homeschool Hop – anyone who homeschools or is interested in homeschool and has a Facebook page, Twitter account, or blog can link up every Tuesday!
4. The Hip List – FREE Homeschool Classifieds. Buy and Sell!
5. Hip Homeschool Field Trips – Check out these listings by state!
6. The Homeschool Forums – ask questions, give advice about family life, homeschooling, and more!
7. The Facebook page – 4,000 + Homeschoolers connect and help eachother on Facebook!
8. The big, new, and fun ideas that Hip Homeschool Moms always has up their sleeves. In fact, there are a couple being announced in the next couple of weeks you won’t want to miss out on. Make sure you are following the blog and keeping up with us on Facebook and Twitter to stay in the loop!
9. Giveaway Day – Link up all your giveaways youre hosting and enter the ones that are linked up with us! There are some fantastic giveaways that we love to promote each week through our link- up. Catch it every Thursday – Sunday.
10. The Hip Sponsors – I’ve learned so much and have found many new sites thanks to the awesome sponsors. To learn about sponsoring an event or if you’re interested in adspace at Hip Homeschool Moms – email them hiphomeschoolmoms (at) gmail (dot) com.

I’m really enjoying participating in the hops and visiting everyone.
I belong to a homeschool co-op and while all the other women are like minded, none of them blog, facebook or twitter, so it’s been fun to visit other “cyber-savvy” homeschool moms.
Thanks for this!

You and Sue created something truly special and beautiful with Hip Homeschool Moms! The Hip Homeschool Hop is fabulous, and I’m always impressed at each of your new additions to the site. Just when I think it can’t get any better, it does! Thanks so much to you and Sue for all you’ve done for the homeschooling community! 🙂
