The Creation Museum is a fantastic place to visit with your family! We went this past weekend and loved every aspect of it. Located right near Cincinnati, there are many other things to do and visit while you’re in the area.
We first saw the museum on an episode when the Duggar family went to visit.
“The state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden’s Rivers. The serpent coils cunningly in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Majestic murals, great masterpieces brimming with pulsating colors and details, provide a backdrop for many of the settings.”
Both of my boys said, “Woooowwww!” when we arrived in the entrance.
We aren’t normally museum people…meaning we dont read every single word on every sign when we go to museums. We look, and read and get the general idea of it, and then move on. So, we figured we’d spend about 2 hours or so in the museum.
We looked down at our watches as we were walking out the door and realized we had stayed nearly 5 hours. I’m telling you folks, this museum is a must see for anyone! It definitely goes against what many say about Creation and its nice to see a museum with a bible reference to EVERYTHING. We are excited about the Ark Encounter coming in 2014.
Thanks to Master Books for sending us! It was a hit!

Thank you so much for posting! We’re thinking of taking a trip there either in late summer or early fall.
I too cannot wait to be surrounded by the Biblical focus!

I hope that we will be able to take our children there one day! We get the Answers magazine from Answers in Genesis and it is such an excellent resource.

We went there last year and love it too! Our favorite part was the planetarium. I too can’t wait until 2014 – should be awesome!
