I follow you via RSS on my Google Reader and I’m also a fan on Facebook! I’m a first-time mom expecting my baby any day now (due date was yesterday!) so I’m looking forward to celebrating the fall season by giving birth to our son. 🙂
We decorate our house with a harvest theme and some non-scary halloween decorations.

I’ve been celebrating with the kids by doing activities involving fall things like apples and pumpkins, learning about them, making treats with them etc.

I know this is a controversial subject among believers but I celebrate Halloween with my Little Bit. Now I don’t teach any pagan beliefs. I teach that it’s okay to dress up like something silly and entertain your neighbors by letting them see you dress up silly and get some candy in exchange. It’s all pretend and I think when you teach it that way it’s perfectly fine 😀

We do dress up for Halloween and go trick or treating but mainly we take a lot of fall walks, go to the pumpkin patch (a few times), play in the leaves, and do lots of apple and pumpkin activities. 🙂
We love going outside in the cooler weather, football, gumbo and all the warm fall recipes

We are spending lots of time in the kitchen baking and canning. And snuggling up together at night for sweet family time. This is by far my favorite fall ever!
