It’s my first time to “Connect” with this community and I couldn’t be more excited. I love Lisa-Jo from tale from a Gypsy Mama is so inspiring.
If you’re a blogger or social media enthusiast, there are lots of people that you come in contact with each day over this thing we call the internet. It’s an amazing thing. You read other blogs, you get to know the writers through their words and you feel connected. You’ve made a friend possibly through their blog or tweets.
Lots of stay at home moms get their adult interaction this way. Let’s face it, being a stay at home mom, you do lots of baby talk, lots of kid activities, and read lots of children’s books. And while this is totally great and the best job you could have {in my opinion}, it leaves little room for adult interaction, especially in person.
My goal a few years ago was to make two good friends. I found myself in a rut of reading through the blogs that I subscribed to and reading other tweets and at the end of the day, I didn’t have my in real life adult interaction need filled.
So, I did.

They are the best friends that I have been praying for for several years. God has blessed me with their friendship.
So today, I encourage you to “connect” with someone in person. Keep those friendships you make online, yes, they are special and important. But it’s also important to have a friend who you can count on, trust in, and laugh with and someone you can
