TODAY is the day folks! We have been looking forward to this day for so long and have been counting down.
Every year we go to the Lighting Ceremony at Opryland Hotel and it is one amazing experience. This kicks off the 29th annual Country Christmas celebration that will run through January 1, 2013.
“With more than two million twinkling lights and acres of stunning decorations that attract visitors from all over the world, there’s no better place to celebrate the season,” said Gaylord Opryland’s Senior Vice President and General Manager Pete Weien. “And, of course, it wouldn’t be Music City, USA, without amazing live shows and entertainment.”
Come celebrate the Sounds & Sights of Christmas tonight at 5:30pm at the hotel. It will be a music-filled celebration featuring some very special VIP guests who will help turn on over 2 million twinkling holiday lights.
It’s FREE and a great event for the whole family!

You’ll get to see what all Opryland Hotel has to offer around the holidays which includes the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes, ICE! featuring DreamWorks “Shrek the Halls”, and the all new Lorrie Morgan’s Enchanted Christmas dinner show.
