“Heavenly Father,
I ask that my kids’ highest goal would be to serve others. You said You give grace to the humble (Proverbs 3:34) and You listen to those with a humble heart (2 Kings 22:19). I pray my children would be heard and receive Your grace as they learn to be a servant to all (Mark 10:43-44). I pray they would do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than themselves (Philip- pians 2:3-5). May they follow Your example as a true servant leader (John 13:12-17, Matthew 20:28, Philippians 2:4) and humbly serve every- one they meet in love (Galatians 5:13). “
This week I’m focusing on praying for my boys to have a servant’s heart. The above prayer is the prayer I’ll be praying all week for them. Won’t you join me?
