If you’re like me, buying store bought all purpose cleaner gets old. One, because it doesn’t work as great as it should. Two, because it definitely can get pricey. We use all purpose cleaner a lot. I use it to clean our countertops, our stove top, bathrooms, and to wipe down kitchen cabinets. I was going through 2-3 bottles a month.
Then, I came across this recipe (I can’t remember where or who gave it to me) and not only does it save on my grocery bill each month, it makes the surfaces I use all purpose cleaner on, so much shinier. The best part? The recipe has 2 household ingredients. Just two! This homemade all purpose cleaner is by far one of my favorite cleaning products.
What You’ll Need:
1. 5-6 Cuties/Halos orange peels
2. Distilled vinegar
3. Spray bottle
What You’ll Do:
1. Peel 5-6 cuties/halos (or keep the peelings throughout the day if you’re going to have a few through the course of a day)
2. Place the peels in a larger size mason jar (see below)
3. Pour vinegar on top of the orange peels to fill up the jar.
4. Let it sit for 4-5 days.
5. Then, pour the liquid into a spray bottle.
6. Put the peels in your disposal for an all natural cleaning solution to your disposal. Run the disposal.
Do you have any other homemade cleaning products you use? I’d love to hear what they are and the recipe.
