Yesterday we finished out our 2014/2015 homeschool year. We start every year in July so we can finish earlier than local schools. While we’re so ready for a break for a couple months, a part of me is sad to see the school year end. I absolutely love everything about homeschooling. Our routine, being able to see my kids learn and get it for the first time, taking our school with us when we travel, their childhood isn’t rushed with busy school day schedules or homework – they can be kids. It just works for our family.
And with that, it’s time to make our annual summer bucket list.
What’s a Summer Bucket List?
It’s a list you create anywhere from April – May to state what you’d like to do that summer. You can make one for yourself or one as a family. We chose family.
Why make a Summer Bucket List?
1. Helps you look forward to summer
2. Mom’s, it helps when your kids are bored and you’re looking for something to do
3. Because it’s fun to cross things off a list (if you’re a bit OCD like me)
4. It’s fun to think of new fun activities and trips to take
Our summer bucket list for this year includes:
What’s on your summer bucket list? I’m excited to hear.
