We are well into the new year and I’ve been documenting gratitude in a new way now for 16 days. For the past three or four years I’ve kept a Gratitude Journal. I love finding something each day to be grateful for because it helps me focus on what I have in front of me. Every night before I go to bed, I write 1-3 things that I found beauty in or that I was thankful for that day. It’s been wonderful to see the journal towards the end of the each year filled with blessings over the last 12 months.
This year, I’m trying something different. I’m using a small planner for my gratitude journal, but I’m also adding photos to it. I love taking pictures and love documenting our life, so I figured this would be a fun change to my gratitude journal.
The small, pocket size photo printer that I love:
I came across the HP Sprocket on a friend’s Instagram and knew that would be perfect for this new little project. The next day my husband was at Costco (and because is good like that) he saw the Sprocket and brought it home knowing I wanted to add that to my gratitude journal for 2019 {I don’t think Costco still has them, but you could check}. If not, Amazon definitely carries them.
Some of my favorite things about the Sprocket:
- Photos print instantly – like within seconds of you hitting the “print” icon on the Sprocket app on your phone.
- You can personalize your prints – within the app, you can add text, stickers, filters, etc.
- Includes photo paper – this photo paper is sticky, so it’s easy to peel the sticker off and place it on your page.
The Comfy & Roomy Daily Planner
This little planner is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. I searched and searched for this exact one and it was currently unavailable on the MochiThings site, so the search continued. I finally found it and ordered from this shop in South Korea. It has the cutest products and they arrive within a week or so.
Some of my favorite things about this planner/journal:
- It has both daily and monthly planner pages.
- It’s small and can fit in your purse or bedside table drawer.
- The color options for this journal are all so great.
- Has plenty of room for writing and a 2X3 photo from the Sprocket.
A look inside…
