Charlie is a high-spirited monkey who doesn’t understand the Bible. And Trike is his faithful friend who patiently explains God’s Word and answers his questions. We’ll follow these two on some exciting adventures, and along the way, we’ll learn the Bible can be trusted as the true, inspired Word of God.
Monkeys, Dinosaurs & Canyons… and the Bible? Why not? Ken Ham and Karen Hansel teach a great lesson on Biblical truth with these little characters in Charlie and Trike in the Grand Canyon Adventure. How do you teach your little ones to believe the Bible is true? ( Here is a sneak peek inside the book. )
That’s what our Twitter party is all about. Save the Date!
Tuesday, August 31st at 8pm CST
We will use the hashtag #C&TRIKE to connect with each other and share ideas on how to make the truth of God’s word real to our families. Jennifer will tweet questions from the publisher @masterbooks4u (make sure you follow them), and I will be handing out prizes from @meghantucker . Your answers in the form of tweets (and comments on my blog) will qualify you to win prizes from Master Books including:
God’s Amazing Creatures & Me Devotional for Children
The Grand Canyon of Prizes (one copy of all the books listed above) will be awarded to the person who involves their child in one of the following activities in advance of the Twitter party.
· Video of the child (age 4 – 8) discussing who made monkeys, dinosaurs and mountains.
· Drawing or painting by the child of Charlie and Trike on their Grand Canyon Adventure
The Grand Adventure Prize (one copy of 4 of the books of your choice) will be awarded to one of the Twitter party attendee that creates and submits a Homeschool Activity using Charlie & Trike to teach that the Bible can be trusted.
Winners will be chosen randomly by September 1st, 2010 at 2pm CST and announced shortly after.
