It’s April which means little Emerson will be joining us this month.
While we thought we knew the exact date of his arrival {through scheduling my c-section}, sometimes our plans aren’t the ultimate plan. God has a different idea possibly {as we found out today}.
I went in for my normally weekly ultrasound this morning and they found a few things they wanted to monitor on me…baby looked great, but they wanted to watch a few precautionary things since I’ve had gestational hypertension in the past.
So, here we sit for a couple of days while I get fluids and take it easy. All labs have come back normal {praise the Lord!}. Either we’ll go home in a few days or we’ll have little Emerson in our arms.
I’m writing this post to let you know that if Emerson comes to join us this week, you won’t be seeing too many blog posts from me for several weeks. I’ll be taking the rest of April off from blogging for the most part {I know I can’t stop posting adorable pictures of my little baby and his big brothers all together, so be checking Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for updates}.
I’m excited about the newest addition to our family and cannot wait to show you his sweet little face once he makes his debut. If you’re the praying type, I’d appreciate any prayers we can get.

Meghan, I’ll be praying for sure. Believing that you’ll be able to rest and savor this last stretch of holding your baby the closest he’ll ever be to you. ..that you’ll have a smooth delivery no matter how and when and that mommy and baby will be perfectly united in his time! Blessings to the Tucker family!
