Jumpstreet Indoor Trampoline Park is celebrating its grand opening Saturday, January 24 at the Rivergate Mall with a weeklong food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. It just so happens that we’re having my oldest son’s birthday there on that day, if you come out, I’d love to meet you! (Also, be watching my blog for a post about having a birthday party at Jumpstreet.)
Grand Opening festivities begin as the doors open at 10 a.m. and will include discounts, upgrades and chances to win valuable prizes throughout the day. All participants who donate two non-perishable food items on Jan. 24th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will receive a total savings of $5. The regular price would have been $15 for a 1-hour full access pass to all the attractions but the minimum two-item donation would bring that price to only $10 for a full hour of all access fun.
Giveaways, prizes and the Fun Pass upgrade are only available on Saturday, Jan. 24th until 5pm. However, Jumpstreet will continue to offer a $2 discount off the hourly rate for those guests who bring in two non-perishable food items until Friday, Jan. 30.
“Second Harvest relies on our corporate partners like Jumpstreet to help us raise awareness of hunger issues in our community,” said Elizabeth Bradbury, Communications Manager of Second Harvest. She notes that 1 in 6 Tennesseans are at risk for hunger, including 1 in 4 children. “We are very grateful for the collective generosity of our community, especially the support we received this past holiday season. However, the fight against hunger is a yearlong battle, and food drives like these are crucial throughout the year to ensure we provide for children, families and seniors in need.”
“Our most needed items are peanut butter, canned chicken and tuna, canned fruit and vegetables, soups and stews, pasta and cereal,” said Bradbury.
Jumpstreet opened late last year in Goodlettsville, the first of three Jumpstreets planned for Tennessee. A second location will open in Franklin at Cool Springs Galleria in a few weeks. A third site will open in Murfreesboro at Marketplace Centre by end of March.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Goodlettsville community and welcome families to experience our fun attractions. As part of our commitment to the communities we serve, we want to remember ALL families. When children come in to donate two food items, they can be assured, they are helping other kids,” said Jumpstreet manager Heather Bowie. “And with the free upgrades and prizes, everyone wins!”
Throughout the day on Jan. 24, there will be prize drawings every 45 minutes. All Jumpstreet guests will be entered and eligible to win a chance to spin a wheel to win prizes including T-shirts, food and upgrades passes to additional attractions. One winner will receive the grand prize of a free Jumpstreet party for up to 10 guests.

For pre-teens and teenagers, it’s a great way to burn off energy while practicing tumbling, cheerleading moves or gymnastic-like maneuvers.
