It’s back! The Southern Women’s Show returns with a staggering list of stars and attractions for 2014. This year’s show will be held at Nashville’s Music City Center, boasting a fabulous new facility with plenty of parking for show-goers. Guests will enjoy fashion, cooking, career information, health and education, hundreds of exhibits, shops and celebrity appearances.
This year, guests will have the opportunity to meet Patti Stanger, (pictured) the star and executive producer of Bravo’s hit docu-series The Millionaire Matchmaker. Going into its seventh season, the show has gained record-breaking viewership and captured a worldwide following for Stanger. She navigates her business with intense passion, and for those that turn to her for help in the love department, she gives nothing less than her soul in the quest to find their perfect match.
An experienced third-generation matchmaker, Stanger founded the Millionaire’s Club, in January 2000 after a five-year stint as the Director of Marketing for Great Expectations, one of the oldest dating services in the United States. She has successfully branched out into television and film acting with such appearances as Drop Dead Diva and Days of Our Lives. She recently launched her own website, pattistanger.com, in which she features the latest advice on love, dating, and relationships. Stanger’s Simon & Schuster books, Become Your Own Matchmaker, Find Your Match, Seal the Deal, and Raise your Desirability Factor and DVD Married in a Year, have a loyal, devoted following, and continue to brand Patti as the ultimate “matchmaking expert.”
Appearing daily on the Spotlight State is author and empowerment speaker Sharon Frame (pictured). Her interactive “back to the future” exercise will have you brimming with delight as you learn to re-set your thoughts, re-frame your self-image and step into your dream life now, and then learn how to make it happen. Sharon offers simple, life-transforming strategies to set yourself up for success through the power of Faith, Focus and Follow Through. Frame is a former CNN Anchor, award-winning speaker, host of her own e-TV show, a director for Women’s Informational Network’s (WIN) Global Women’s Summit, and author of 4 books including “LeadHERship” and “Wired to Win!”
Dana Elliott, culinary specialist with the Taste of Home Cooking School will be on hand to inspire with exciting recipe demonstrations. The Taste of Home Cooking School is America’s leading cooking school program, reaching more than 300,000 passionate consumers each year at 300 events across the country. At a Taste of Home Cooking School happening on Thursday and Friday, you’ll experience recipe demonstrations with step-by-step instructions on how to create satisfying and flavorful dishes. The jam-packed program offers easy-to-prepare recipes and creative craft and decorating ideas.
With a new location at the Music City Center, the Southern Women’s Show will be bigger with even more to see, do and shop this year! “We’re pulling out all the stops to make this year’s show the best ever” says Stacy Abernethy, Executive Show Manager. “We had used every nook and cranny at the Nashville Convention Center and with more space at the Music City Center, there will be a café area where you can grab a bite to eat, rest and get your second wind.” Each day will offer surprises, including Girls Night Out and Mother Daughter Day, and if you’re one of the first 500 people through the door, there will be special gifts given away. There will be lots of new exhibitors but your favorites will be back including the Local 140 Firefighter Fashion Show that has raised thousands of dollars for Camp Phoenix and Box 55. This year, they will also fund a new nonprofit initiative – Fighters that Care (FTC) that supports firefighters in need due to medical issues when insurance runs out.

Kim says
I am looking for advise on exhibiting at a Southern Womens show in the future. Do arts and crafts sell at the SWS ? I am on a limited income and my future employment is uncertain. I just want to know that the costs to exhibit would be worthwhile.
Thanks in advance for any advise you can give me.
God bless !
Kim
