A snowy night, a warm cabin, and a boy who hears the Christmas story told for the first time—beginning with Creation and ending with the Resurrection.
One Wintry Night had my boys sitting on the edge of the couch. Literally. Their eyes were glued to the pictures as I read to them. It’s perfect for ages 4-7 but even my 3 year old enjoyed it. The illustrations are so dramatic and I love that the forward from Billy Graham.

I’m embarrassed to say that we haven’t read any Christmas books until this year. We’ve actually done it for the first time for our Advent countdown. My youngest threw a FIT because he can’t stand the movie The Polar Express and didn’t want to read the book. LOL…He LOVES the book! I can’t wait to read more so we can find out which is our fave.

Hi Meghan,
Thanks for sharing about One Wintry Night, a book near and dear to my heart. I was the illustrator on the book. I worked with Ruth Bell Graham for several years to make this book. I hope your winner enjoys the book. Blessings.
