Newborn baby items. There's so much out there. What's good? What works? What doesn't? It's been a few years (more like over 4 years) since we've had a newborn around. While it seems like yesterday we brought our youngest son home from the hospital, it's been over 4 years and lots has changed in the newborn baby world. Lots of fun new products I wish they had when my boys were babies (I sound so old saying that). A little over 8 weeks ago, we brought a newborn baby girl (foster placement) home ...
The Perfect Father’s Day Gift: JORD Wood Watches
It's time to start thinking of that great Father's Day gift to treat that special guy in your life. Whether you're shopping for your husband, boyfriend, dad, grandfather, brother, friend, or another father figure, I've found the best gift to give! I remember growing up my dad always wearing a watch. To work, to play golf, to work in the yard. He always had a watch on. Believe it or not, I married a man who also loves watches. He has several different watches for different occasions. I love ...
Top 4 Sessions at Teach Them Diligently Nashville 2016
It's been almost two weeks since Teach Them Diligently Nashville 2016. It was my fourth year to attend and I loved every minute of it. The speakers this year were amazing! From the key-note speakers, to the break-out sessions, there was so much to digest! Each year, my husband and I make it a weekend getaway to re-evaluate what we're using in our homeschool, how our year has gone so far with our kids and school, and what we can work on and improve on for the next school year. Plus, it's a ...
What I’m Packing For Our Disney Cruise
We’ve been planning for months for this trip. The boys received the Disney Cruise as part of their Christmas and we’ve been counting down the days since. We’re cruising with Disney next week and can’t wait to hop on board. While this list is what I'm packing for this specific trip, these things could be used for any other cruise. Many of you know I love to pack for trips. Unpacking is a different story, but there’s something so exciting about packing. The anticipation of what the trip will be ...
Boys Room Makeover With Floating Bunk Beds
It was time. The small room all 3 of our boys share wasn't put together well. You would walk in the room and suddenly feel cramped. It was dark, small, and very crowded. We had a very big bunk bed on one side of the room that was black. On the other wall was a twin bed that was dark brown. In between was a tiny space for you to walk through. There's one window in the room but the bunk bed was so big, it covered half of it. Talk about a very dark space. The room was also so small that we ...

We're a little late to the party this year in being festive for Valentines Days. Usually I start the crafts early, but for some reason, we're just getting started with our Valentine crafts. Today, we made painted newspaper hearts and it was really fun and easy! (Easy is always good, right?) Supplies Needed: Newspaper Liquid Watercolor Brushes Scissors Card-stock Rubber Cement Instructions: Cover your table with a plastic table cloth or newspaper. Place some water ...
