We’ve been planning for months for this trip. The boys received the Disney Cruise as part of their Christmas and we’ve been counting down the days since. We’re cruising with Disney next week and can’t wait to hop on board. While this list is what I'm packing for this specific trip, these things could be used for any other cruise. Many of you know I love to pack for trips. Unpacking is a different story, but there’s something so exciting about packing. The anticipation of what the trip will be ...
Boys Room Makeover With Floating Bunk Beds
It was time. The small room all 3 of our boys share wasn't put together well. You would walk in the room and suddenly feel cramped. It was dark, small, and very crowded. We had a very big bunk bed on one side of the room that was black. On the other wall was a twin bed that was dark brown. In between was a tiny space for you to walk through. There's one window in the room but the bunk bed was so big, it covered half of it. Talk about a very dark space. The room was also so small that we ...

Snowy Weekend
It never snows this much in Nashville. And by never, I mean never. It's been 28 years since it has snowed this much. It was a snowy weekend. What was forecasted for 8-9", we had a total of 11" on our back deck. My kids (and I) couldn't believe it. It was beautiful. Our 15 acres of woods were even more quiet than normal. To go out on the front porch and just stop to listen. So peaceful. We had big fun. Lots of sledding, lots of hot chocolate and sitting by the wood ...
That Family Farmhouse Table
That family farmhouse table. You know the one. One that can seat all your friends and family. One that is handmade, and handmade by someone close to you. One that will be in your family for years, maybe even generations to come. That one. Well, over Thanksgiving break this year, I got that one. That farmhouse table that I've been dreaming about for years. It's so special to me, I just had to share it with you all. Joe's 88 year old grandfather (who doesn't look or act like he's 88) was ...
Ja-vie: The Next Generation in Flats (review & giveaway)
It's true. I'm super picky about shoes. They have to be cute, feel great, and versatile. If they meet all these requirements, then they get an A+ in my book. I had seen Ja-vie flats all over the internet and wanted to see what the big raves were about. I read reviews and even followed them on Instagram to find out more. Everyone was ranting and raving over these jelly-like flats. Ja-vie flats are beautifully designed and are super functional. The support is perfect for busy moms like me, and ...
