Review of the IKEA Svalnas Desk

The Svalnas desk is a desk that can be used in so many different rooms. I’m sure by now, you are well aware of IKEA and their lower priced furniture and pieces. Not only are they affordable, the quality is good too.

We needed something for our school room. Well, I say school room, but it also serves as a place for our guests when we have overnight guests occasionally. This room has been a baby nursery, a guest room, a full blown school room, and now it serves as a guest room & school room together. The Svalnas desk from IKEA are designed for rooms that need a desk, or two, or three in them and don’t have a ton of room to offer. The desk/workstation includes: a work surface, two drawers and an adjustable shelf (or more if you’d like more than one shelf). It is available only in bamboo (which we love).

You can hide or display your things by combining open and closed storage. Also, the shelves of different depths and widths mean you have space for everything from trinkets to books. The drawers that are suitable for storing small items and make it easy to organize the content.

It really is the best desk if you’re needing something in a small space.

The Svalnas desk is a great option for a homeschool family, someone who lives in a smaller space but needs a hard desk/workspace, or a business that has a smaller and more modern space to fill.
