It’s time we make our Spring Bucket List. With it beginning to look a lot like Spring in Nashville – the trees are starting to get buds on them, the days are getting longer, and we “spring forward” this Sunday, we are excited the new season is near. We try to finish up our school early enough to conquer some of these “to do’s” before everyone else gets out of school and has the same idea to visit these places and do these things {one of the many perks of homeschooling}.
- Visit the Zoo several times
- Go camping
- Go to the Nashville Farmers Market
- Plant flowers
- Have a water balloon fight
- Make homemade sidewalk chalk
- Picnic at a state park we haven’t visited before
- Plant herbs
- Make a bird feeder
- Fly a kite
- Go to a Nashville Sounds game
- Go to a drive in movie
- Play in the rain
- Skip rocks
- Dye Easter eggs
- Jump in rain puddles
- Bike rides
- Read books outside in the hammock
- Watch the sunset
- Make and eat dirt pudding
- Paint rocks
- Visit a new park
- Roast s’mores
- Make a wind chime
- Listen to the rain on the front porch
- Have a bonfire
- Make a rain catcher
- Spot a rainbow
- Do a few Easter crafts
- Eat dinner at Centennial Park in Nashville
- Make coke floats
- Make a berry pie
- Visit the cabin in North Carolina
- Paint cherry blossoms (with bottles)
- Run through the sprinkler
- Pick strawberries

I love all of these ideas! And now I want a Coke float… for breakfast, ha! I’ll have to make a bucket list for us since we’ll be able to get out a little bit more in the spring!
