This past weekend we were in Atlanta being tourists. I grew up there but had never been without kids to be a tourist in my own “hometown”. We met some friends and my mother-in-law who are both from Florida so it was definitely a fun getaway! We did all the fun attractions like a Braves game, the Georgia Aquarium, the Varsity, and more!
We stayed at Omni CNN Center in downtown Atlanta and LOVED it!
It was our first time in an Omni hotel and we were blown away by the incredible staff, service, and room. Our room was on the 20th floor and had a corner view of Centennial Park.
The hotel was conveniently located to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, Skyview Atlanta, and more!
One of the highlights of our weekend was visiting Stone Mountain Park. I had been to Stone Mountain a lot growing up but haven’t been in 15+ years and my, how it has changed. It’s absolutely amazing and a great place to bring the entire family!
From ropes courses to water-playgrounds, to Ride the Ducks, to laser shows, and awesome food – there is definitely something for everyone in the family…especially this summer!
One of my favorite things was riding the Gondola up the mountain to the top. Wow, the view was incredible!
