Gaylord Opryland Resort is teaming up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee with an exclusive ICE! offer that will help provide 10 million meals to the hungry men, women and children as part of Second Harvest’s Feeding Hope Challenge.
On Dec. 10-13 from 4-8 p.m., each guest who brings a minimum of five non-perishable food items to ICE! featuring DreamWorks’ Shrek the Halls at the Gaylord Opryland Events Center will receive 50% off an adult ticket with purchase of an adult ticket. (Limit 6.)
Second Harvest’s most needed items are peanut butter, canned meat (chicken/tuna), canned fruit and vegetables, soups and stews, pasta and cereal. Dented cans and expired cans cannot be accepted.
Regular ICE! admission is $24.95* for adults (ages 12+), $17.95* for kids (ages 4-11) and FREE for children under age 4. Free parking for ICE! is available off of Briley Parkway Exit 11 on the north side of Opry Mills between the mall and the resort.
With 2 million pounds of larger-than-life colorful ice sculptures and incredible 20-foot-tall ice slides, ICE!-presented by Coca-Cola and sponsored by Delta Dental of Tennessee and NovaCopy-is bigger than ever in the 40,000-square-foot Gaylord Opryland Events Center. When Shrek tries to plan the “perfect Christmas” for Fiona and the kids, his plans are disrupted by chaos and commotion. But, in the end, Shrek learns the true meaning of the holiday.
