I’m excited to be hosting another The Rusted Chain giveaway this week! Up for grabs is one amazing piece by Beki. It’s called “Capture Life” and is perfect for any photographer – whether you’re a rookie or professional.
Beki Hastings began making custom jewelry in 2003. Since that time, her products have been featured in various parenting magazines, Pediped shoe advertisements, Law and Order Criminal Intent, and are sold in local upscale boutiques and internationally.
Her designs feature the best of rustic elegance and trendy looks, with the end result being quality jewelry that will look as new and fresh years from now as it does today. Each piece is custom made using sterling silver, stainless steel, natural stones, and the finest components.
Beki is also a photographer and blogger. She lives in an old farmhouse in Kansas with her husband, and her three children, a daughter, aged 10, and two sons ages 9 and 4. A former flight attendant, Beki is truly enjoying being home with her children. Being a designer is, she says, the best way for her to remain home with her family and still have a creative outlet.

Oh how I love this necklace. I have a GE x5 camera that I refer to as my learning camera. When I progress I will upgrade- but this one does take some great landscape shots- which I think I love the most. While I love taking photos of my kids- they are a bit more difficult because they are always moving 🙂
Following now on Twitter 🙂
I just bought a Nikon D-5000 and I’m learning the ropes with it. Right now my favorite subject is the adorable face of my 4 month old son, Sawyer, but hope to practice up on landscape shots as the weather gets warmer!
